Just a wee note to let you all know what the PTSA has been up to this year.
Our first fundraiser for the year is our Annual Easter raffle. This is always well supported and is one way of helping our school raise extra money.
The next fundraiser was out Annual Quiz night, this year held at Heffs Hotel. Once again this was well supported by teams and raffle prizes, that were generously donated by families of the school.
Out last fundraiser was the Car Boot Sale, held on Sunday 5th November. Since it was our first it went considerably well. With over 17 stalls and lots of variety, wonderful food - Curries and BBQS. And our music students provided a wonderful atmosphere for the day.
Sadly earlier this year we have Wendy Horwell step down from the committee. Also Jane Johnson, Trudi Sunitch, Anna Blackman and Indy (Student Council Rep) have also finished their time on the committee. On behalf of the committee we thank everyone for their time and effort while on the committee.
During the year we have supported the school on the "Welcome afternoon tea" for new students/families. And also provided a cuppa and food for the open day for prospective families.
We would like to thank everyone for their support over the year. As we are a small dedicated team we really do appreciate any help we get. We only meet once a month, 3rd Tue of the month. And this meeting can normally be done and dusted in 45 min tops. So if you would like to join us feel free to come and check us out in Feb 2018.
May you all have safe and happy holidays.
