Otago Virtual Triathlon
Congratulations to our Logan Park team at the Virtual Triathlon in Term 1.
Nic James Pirie, George Fisher and Nico Alarez Rey-Virag placed 2nd out of 60 teams from across Dunedin Secondary Schools.
The Virtual Triathlon is an initiative run by Sport Otago in response to the Covid situation. It was held at the Forsyth Barr Stadium with teams made up of three participants and consisting of rowing 1500m on a rowing machine, cycling 3kms on a stationary bike, running 1.5km by running 4 laps of the stadium.
We entered three teams.- Team 1-Taya Kain, Tsugumi Parks Watanabe, Cora Chapman. Team 2 - Ethan Lambeth, Kieran Black and Ryan Shotter. Team 3 - Nic James Pirie, George Fisher and Nico Alarez Rey-Virag.
