Sunburst Regatta Successes
On Monday to Wednesday of Tournament Week in March sailors represented Logan Park in the South Island Secondary Schools Sunburst Regatta on the Otago Harbour.
The weather was extremely variable and not always ideal for competition. This was our biggest entry for this event to date and the team enjoyed some good results. Anna Walrond and Miriam Barton won the cups for Best Girls Crew and the handicap results. Zoe Barton and Pepa Cloughley placed third in the handicap results. In the Non Spinnaker Silver Division, James Hurley and Owen Bettis placed third. Logan Park was placed second in both School Overall results and in the Teams Racing Cup. This included the crew of Linus Molteno and Ben Kunath.
