1000 Paper Cranes - Kia kaha!   by Sue Kim

1000 Paper Cranes - Kia kaha!

1000 Paper Cranes were made by students of Year 9 Korean and Japanese in April.

We have all been left with a profound sense of bewilderment and sadness at the horror of the Christchurch attacks. The Year 9 Korean and Japanese students have together made 1000 paper cranes, which traditionally represent peace. These have been sent to Christchurch, alongside cranes from around the country. Our deepest sympathy is offered to family and friends of all of the victims of this tragedy - you have our compassion and love.

Kia kaha - stand tall everyone (but do seek help if it is needed)
