NCEA Results

Our Level 1, 2 and 3 and University Entrance as well as endorsements were all above the national averages.  

79% of students achieved Level 1 compared to the national average of 71%

89% of students achieved Level 2 compared to the national average of 80%

75% of students achieved Level 3 compared to the national average of 72%.

The number of students gaining endorsements (either Excellence or Merit) was 60% at level 1, 59% at Level 2 and 45% at Level 3 which were all over national averages.

91% of students gained their Level 1 Literacy compared to the national average of 85%. 86% of students gained their Level 1 Numeracy compared to the national average of 83%.

And we were thrilled with the 21 Scholarships which included 2 Outstanding Scholarships which are awarded to the the top 2-3% of students nationally.

98% of our juniors gained their Junior Diploma in 2020 which provides a good grounding for the rigours of NCEA assessment in the senior school.
