Student Teachers
LPHS is to be involved in a new teacher training programme in partnership with the University of Otago Teachers College. The Master of Teaching and Learning is an intensive research-informed programme of postgraduate study, aiming to prepare student teachers with a passion and commitment to teaching and learning to meet requirements for provisional teacher registration.
The MTchgLn builds on the subject knowledge graduates have acquired in their initial degree to develop understanding, skills and values which will allow graduates to implement innovative, effective teaching practices and to share their knowledge and passion for learning.
