Hard Materials and Product Design Technology
During Semester One Hard Materials students worked on developing fabulous skills in the workshop and enjoyed the addition of our new laser cutter allowing design embellishment with ease and accuracy.
This is proving to be a popular and useful supplement to traditional hand skills. In Product Design our Year 10 students have been experimenting with gear ratios and efficient design to make a powered vehicle. Again, the use of the laser cutter in the newly refurbished Technology suite has greatly enhanced design opportunities.
