Festival For the Future

Ashley King, Year 12 was  selected  for a future focused festival in Auckland in September.

Read Ashley's account below:

"I have been given the wonderful opportunity of attending Festival of the Future 2016 up in Auckland in September.  I will be mixing, discussing and participating in workshops with other like minded youth and people who are passionate economically, socially, environmentally and politically about our world and most importantly about New Zealand and its future.

Festival for the Future is all about holding an event for youth and people who are aware and passionate about changing the world for the better and thinking up ideas that can benefit the way humanity functions today. I am extremely excited to be going up there and coming back with so much more knowledge, new friends, inspiration and networks. Over 1,000 young people are expected to attend. So it is definitely going to be a music filled, inspiring weekend

This will contribute a lot to my dream of motivating youth to embrace their own individual potential and encourage future and current young generations to come forward with their potential to help create a better community, and ultimately a better world."
