We provide fitness testing and health assessment services to help you find your health and fitness levels, whether you are an elite athlete or just stepping foot into the gym for the first time.

Working with LU Gym staff, we can design a tailored training programme to enhance your sporting performance

and assist you to achieve your health and nutrition goals.

Our sophisticated equipment measures movement, speed, force production, muscle and body fat mass as well

as arterial health, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose.

Tests available include:

General Health Testing

Body Composition

Understand and monitor changes in your body weight. Measures the proportion of muscle, fat and water in your body.

Blood Pressure

Knowing your blood pressure is crucial to understanding your risk of heart attack, stroke and cardiovascular diseases.

Arterial Stiffness

Provides lifestyle tips to reach a “young arterial age.” Great for over 40 years olds.


Blood tests via finger prick

• Cholesterol: LDL/HDL cholesterol and lipids

• Blood glucose: sugar in blood to help understand and manage diet

• HbA1c: 3 month average of blood sugar to know long term diet impacts on health

• Ferritin: stored iron levels related to fatigue, dizziness, and chronic headaches.

Sports Testing

• Lactate Threshold

• Maximal Oxygen Uptake

• Oxygen Utilization (Economy)

• Submaximal Aerobic Testing

• Wingate Testing

• Other Power Tests (including cycle test, vertical jump etc.)

• Skinfold testing

• Altitude Training.
