Former Recreation Centre staff member Jayne Smith was awarded a Lincoln University medal from Chancellor Bruce Gemmell along with LUSA President Kristy Havell and netball coach Allanna Taylor.
The Council wished to acknowledge Jayne's oustanding contribution to the University, particularly in coordinating the Ways of Wellness (WOW) programme in which she played a central role in the rehabilitation of many staff members after they recovered from car accidents, hip replacements and other debilitating illnesses
