The Team at Longhurst Chiropractic
Hi, I am Andrea and I am so fortunate in my life that my chosen career is one of my passions and after 5 years of study and 20 years in private practice, I would still choose to be a chiropractor! I see the positive changes chiropractic can make in people’s lives and it is an honour to help facilitate those outcomes. I am often described as being a bit of a mixture of physio, osteo and chiro in my approach, which is due to my continual professional development coming from different modalities. I enjoy combining knowledge, as there is never just one answer and I like to think practically “outside the square” as I am determined to help find solutions for people. I view chiropractic as more than just a treatment to help ease or eradicate pain however, it can be a method to help people feel and be their best, and part of the puzzle to living an optimal, healthy lifestyle. I am known for my many years of experience in treating babies and women during pregnancy but my daily practice is filled with everyone of all ages and who need help from top to toe be it headaches, jaw issues, neck or back pain, trapped nerves, shoulder problems and many other reasons. I am ACC registered. I look forward to meeting more of the Lincoln community, in which I live.
Hi, I’m Sian!
It is great to be joining the Lincoln University Gym community and I especially want to help inspire people to look after themselves. A horse-riding injury in my teens became a positive event in my life as it led me to pursue a career in Chiropractic. I still receive regular chiropractic care, not necessarily because I’m in discomfort, but to simply maintain my overall well-being and make sure my body is working 100%. I find chiropractic such a rewarding profession and enjoy meeting all sorts of people. I see a variety of people ranging from the elders in our community to babies that are just a few days old. I am very passionate about what I do and in my opinion, if you have a spine and nervous system you can enjoy the benefits of being well adjusted by making sure that the body is connected and in sync.
When I’m not in the clinic, I’ll either be exploring the city, out horse riding or simply staying indoors relaxing or writing fiction.
I look forward to meeting you in the clinic and aiding your journey to better well-being!
