Enviro School News
At last, we have completed a map of our school and it is hanging in the foyer. Also, we have noticed that there is more rubbish in our school grounds so we took action.
We have worked to make a map of our school see the photo below. The map of our school we created by painting paper and cutting it to create a collage. Then we coated it with P.V.A. glue. The purpose of the map is to show what we are planning to do in which areas. The actions we propose we will be adding to the side of the map, this is our next job.
We have seen Brett our caring Caretaker picking up rubbish from outside more than we would like to see. So over the next week, each class has an area that they are responsible for picking up the rubbish in. We are collecting the rubbish and at the end of the week (next Tuesday ) we will sort it to see what types of rubbish is being left on the grounds. So then we can try to take action and reduce the rubbish.
The important message for families is you pack it in the lunch box expect it to come back in the lunch box. PACK IN, PACK OUT is the message we give the students.
