Making Goals (Manawanui Perseverance)

For the next two weeks, our students will be focusing on making goals, and persevering with them over a period of time.

The process of setting goals allows our students to choose where they want to go in school and what they want to achieve. By knowing what they want to achieve, they know what they have to concentrate on, and improve.

Goal setting gives students long-term vision and short-term motivation. And because these goals are set by the students, they are able to take ownership to a greater extent than if they were imposed by an adult.

At home, it would be great to share how you make goals - what are your goals, how do you make sure you achieve them? It might be just sharing your lists, from grocery, to fitness, to using an app.
