EpiPens are now fully funded under a Special Authority criteria for use in New Zealand.

As you may or may not be aware Pharmac has now funded Epipens for those that met criteria. This means people with life threatening allergies (anaphylaxis) now have improved access to emergency treatment. 

Under this funding stream patient’s can get two funded Epipens please get in touch with your doctor to determine if you or your child qualify.
