Te Wiki o te Reo Māori!

Nikeisha Clarke —

Māori Language Week 2023

Kia ora koutou! This week our tamariki have engaged in a variety of activities to celebrate Reo and kotahitanga. From daily quizzes to amazing collaborative artworks, we have had a great week with one of the highlights being the Aupaki Cultural Festival on Thursday.

Congratulations to our whānau challenge winners:

Jack from Raupō: Swing ball set

Leo from Harakeke: Cricket set

Ka rawe ō koutou mahi!

"I loved te Reo week because we did different activities to normal days like quizzes in the morning and we got little tokens (whiwhi)" - Chester

"For te Reo week I liked learning new phrases and using te Reo more often at school" - Izzy
