Seesaw for Schools

Rachel Ono —

After a successful trial last year, Lyttelton Primary School will continue with Seesaw for Schools in 2018.

Teachers, students and parents/whānau enjoyed getting started with Seesaw last year.  Seesaw is an online learning journal or e-portfolio and enables students to share their learning with families.  (Watch this video to learn more!)

If you signed up to Seesaw last year, your child/children will appear on your Seesaw account under their 2018 class.  The 2017 classes have been archived but if you require access to any items from your child's journal, please let us know and they can be retrieved.  With Seesaw for Schools, we now have the option to keep the journals active so you can look back on your child's learning journey.

If you have not yet set up a Seesaw account on your mobile device or home computer, an invitation letter will be sent home with your child with instructions.  If you need any support with this, please let us know.  If you do not have access to the internet or devices which support Seesaw, you are welcome to use Seesaw at school on our devices.

We look forward to using Seesaw to build on the learning partnerships between our tamariki, whānau and school.
