This week Totara and Raupo had their camps
Totara went to Orton Bradley and slept in tents. Raupo went to Living Springs and slept in cabins.
Totara and Raupo both left on Monday and returned on Wednesday. The weather was perfect. Kowhai and Harakeke must have had a very nice time without the Rakinui students, especially during break times!
Both camps were a huge success and all the children enjoyed themselves very much. All students learned that our school values of respect, empathy and perseverance can be used outside of school. We are already looking forward to next year's camps.
Next week there is only three days of school because of a teachers only day on Thursday and Easter on Friday, Monday and Tuesday. The children must be very excited to have six days off!
