Muddy, fun running!

On Wednesday the 31st of May we had cross country zones at Ferrymead park. The day started off cold,dark sky and the atmosphere was full of nervous children waiting for their race to begin. First we all walked the track to get a feel of the grounds. Five minutes later the races started. On your marks, go! The year 5 girls were off and racing through the mud and round the corner to the start of the sandy track. Soon after the year 5 boys were racing. Everyone tried their hardest and overall ran great. Three Lyttelton Primary students made it through to Canterbury's. Everyone did so well and we are all so happy with the results.
