Athletics events at the Rec grounds

On the 27th of October, Rakinui walked to the Rec grounds to participate in a range of events including sprints, middle distance running, high jump, shot put and discus. Everyone put a fantastic effort into each event and showed how great Lyttelton Primary is at showing manawanui and ngākau aroha towards others. Many of our students who excel at athletics would have qualified for Zones which has unfortunately been cancelled due to covid. Hopefully they will have a chance to show off their skills next year! Thank you to all of the whānau who were able to come down and support our students on the day.
