Festival of Lights Parade Final Reminders from School

Lyttelton Primary School —

Children's participation in the Festival of Lights Parade is optional and usually well attended. We rely on parents to supervise their children.

We ask children who are participating in the parade to meet at school (on the court) at 6:30pm ready to leave for the parade at 6:55pm.  Please dress in as much white / bright / light clothing as possible to help the lights stand out! There will be a health and safety briefing prior to the parade and also  at tomorrow's 9:15am school assembly.

Children in Harakeke, Kowhai, Raupo and Totara will be staggered through the parade and will be grouped with an adult leader and puppet follower.   We ask that parents of children in Harakeke and Kowhai follow along behind their group during the parade.  When we reach Albion Square children are singing two songs on stage. Following this they will gather around teaching staff for parents to collect.

If you have any questions about the parade please come and see us or attend the briefing at 6:30pm Friday.

Reminder that Lyttelton Primary School has a fabulous art exhibition on show at the Port Cabins - 'Bioluminaire Glowing Art Gallery'. Look forward to seeing you there!

Enjoy the Festival of Lights.
