The Family Hub are gearing up to co-ordinate ‘Art Week’ (8-15 May) a week of in-school activities, workshops, visiting experts and exposure to art for students. This will run alongside the build up to the Peninsula Art Auction on the 19th of May.

The Peninsula Art Auction is an amazing event which raises a huge amount of money for the school. This year there is a real push to take up the educational opportunities that might be available to our kids living in such a creative community and with amazing art bursting through the doors.

Can you help? We're looking for connections - contributors - support.

It is the philosophy of the Family Hub to enable parents and whanau to contribute to the school in their areas of interest or expertise. We would now like to extend a wide invitation to anyone interested in helping with this idea, especially our artists, people with experience and connections in the art world, those with art education ideas and anyone who thinks this is good idea.

Join the Brainstorm at Eruption Brewing next Wednesday

We are kicking off with a brainstorming session about Art Week, to be held Wednesday 27th March 7.45pm upstairs at Eruption Brewery and would love to see interested people come along.
