What a stunning afternoon for Cross Country at Ferrymead Park on Monday!

Cross country on Monday afternoon was a fantastic event. I was really proud of the perseverance demonstrated by so many of our students.  I saw students showing grit and determination and having to dig deep to push themselves hard. We really enjoyed running the event at Ferrymead Park this year. It was good for the seniors students to run the same track as the Zones race. 

I would like to apologise to any parents or caregivers that missed their child's race.  I understand as a parent how disappointing this would have been. Unfortunately I was concerned that we would run out of time and miss races at the end of the day. I didn't check the time as much as I needed to and I apologise for this. It has been good learning for me and I will ensure this doesn't happen in the future.

Well done to the senior students that have qualified for the Zones next Tuesday.
