Trapped Up A Tree and My Little Story

Jordan (Totara)

I sit staring out of a paned window trying to get a glimpse of where all the Blue, Green, Yellow, Red and Black little birds each crouch on one particular branch of one particularly large tree like birds on a wire.

I sit gazing out upon the gray paved footpath leading up to our large modern day house.

I turn to face what was once a little babys room, now the baby has grown up and had her own little baby, Me.

I start to slowly but surely make my way down the stairs, cautious of what would happen if Mum caught me, the stairs were made of old Mahogany wood.

I made it into the kitchen where Mum was eating leftover Beef and Lamb casserole in the small breakfast bar, I try to sneak behind her, down on my hands and knees but i slip, making my nails scratch along floor, she turns round infecting me with her deep blue eyes, I run as fast as i can scampering along the ground slipping here skidding there, I run out to the back yard and crawl up the tree i watched the birds play in earlier , Mum makes it out just in time pulling my furry little tail down from the tree.

Back inside my pads softly padding across the floor and back to my room.

Mum had caught her Kitten once again.

Trapped

Sid (Totara)

Fftink I screamed in pain as the thick metal crushed part of me. I must get out I thought to myself it's starting to kill me slowly and painfully must get out.

I pushed with effort thinking positive thoughts to help take my mind off the excruciating pain in my back shink finally done “Well this is going to hurt for days on end." I lifted up my hand. “Well I got it I guess, that's off home for me."

I walked for god knows how many hours in the darkness.

It was more silent than normal, usually I could hear giant horrific two legged monsters bashing things like god knows what. And don't get me started on the “oh god” there it was the black beast, eyes blazing like fire, talons on its hands like knives, the giants faithful companion. I ran like  the devil was on my tail but it basically was so I scrammed into a corner. I was trapped in the dark with no help. I needed to make it back home fast and soon.

I ran as fast as i could and skidded across the dusty floor boards and fell thru my trusty hole and slid in to my home. I was safe so I lifted up my small paw and started to eat and nibbled on the small dab of peanut butter and cheese and rested.
