We are all concerned for the safety of our children at the school gate. Please do your bit to keep our children safe.

We ask everyone to please:

• Use the pedestrian crossings 
• Park in the correct place - do not park on the yellow lines, double park or walk across the road in front of our bus stop
• Refrain from calling your child/children over the road outside the front gate

Follow these tips to help create a safe environment around our school:

• Plan your drop off and pick up times
• Choose a safe parking area to drop off and pick up
• Look out for all parking restrictions near the school
• Be aware of other road users, such as buses, cyclists and pedestrians crossing the road
• Keep to the speed limits and slow down when approaching the pedestrian crossing

We have registered with the Christchurch City Council for support to establishing a School Travel Plan. This is focused on education, consulting our school community, improving traffic safety systems where possible and enforcement of the traffic rules around our school.
