Lyttelton students enjoyed the 'You've got the power' show presented by Elgregoe last week.

Last Wednesday was truly magical at our school. Elgregoe entertained us all with fast-paced tricks, puppets, music and more, while sharing powerful anti-bullying messages about positive attitudes, respect and acceptance.

When you act, speak or post...THINK!

T - Truthful: stand up and tell the truth

H - Helpful: hands are for helping

I - Integrity: step out and do what's right

N - Nice: be nice in your words and actions

K - Kind: treat others the way you wish to be treated

His show positively reinforced many of our school's Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) values and expectations such as Ngākau aroha.

If someone bothers you or are unkind use your...WITS!

W - Walk away

I -  Ignore

T - Talk to a teacher, parent or friend who can help you

S - Put your hand up and say "stop it I don't like it"

Elgregoe made it real for our students and reminded us all that 'In a world where you can be anything, be KIND'.
