Last Tuesday 45 Rakinui students headed back to Ferrymead park to participate in the zones cross country event.

It was a fun morning that saw the Year 8's head off first. Everyone ran well and represented our school with pride. Caitlin R came in 5th place for the year 8 girls. Florence M came 1st and Bridie came in 2nd place for the year 7 girls. Ethan came in 6th place for the year 5 boys. These four students will compete at the Canterbury competition on the 23rd of June at Halswell Quarry.
