Harakeke tamariki joined a Zoom music lesson with some members from the NZSO.

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra hosted an online Classroom session for Years 0 - 2. There were junior classes from across Aotearoa that joined the lesson via zoom. NZSO have a Music Education Animateur called Chris Lam Sam who led the session and he used to be a primary school teacher.

The children wrote a shared story about the lesson:

'This morning we had a music lesson with the NZSO. We met Chris, who told a story with a mouse puppet, Jason who played the trombone, and Liz who played the violin. We matched emotions with music, colours and actions and we had lots of fun.'
