Board of Trustees Update
Kia ora koutou
The first thing I would like to pass on to you all in this update from the Board is feedback we have had from an independent review of PB4L at LPS. This evaluation, looking at how well PB4L is being delivered, gave an overall mark of 100%, which is an outstanding result. This is down to the dedicated and thoughtful way Brendan and all the teaching staff have rolled out PB4L, and the whole Board are really proud of how well they are doing.
I hope you all had a chance to get into the school over Art Auction weekend. Again it was an amazing success, and is a major fundraiser for the school. A huge amount of effort was expended by the organizing committee and all the volunteers, parents, teachers, and pupils who helped out over the weekend. Thanks very much everybody.
We took some advice recently from Tom Scollard, an expert on school governance. We want to make sure the next phase in reviewing our strategic goals is effective. On Friday the 23rd of August, every pupil will bring home with them a piece of paper contains four short questions. We hope you will be able to take some time over that weekend to talk them over with your kids, get your answers down, and send them back on the Monday morning.
