Te karere a te tumuaki
Kia ora e te whānau
This week our alert level 3 bubbles have been running smoothly here at school. It is very quiet!! With just a few children on site each day we are managing with two bubbles, 1 on each floor. Most staff and children continue with distance learning from home. Check out some of the amazing learning being shared in the articles in today's newsletter along with some tips for parents - "So, you're the teacher now?"
While alert level 3 remains in place we will continue with physical distancing requirements, contact tracing, and regular cleaning of surfaces.
Please do not send your child to school during alert level 3 unless you need to and have contacted us beforehand. It is important that our bubbles are staffed appropriately and can maintain the strict level 3 requirements. We need to know exactly how many and which children are expected to arrive each day.
Although we are underway with our planning for alert level 2, we await further information from the Government in the announcement on 11th May. Rest assured we will plan and prepare for learning at school accordingly.
Please feel welcome to have a chat with me over morning tea in a zoom meeting next Wednesday at 10 am - bring your own morning tea! :) Here's the link. It is always useful hearing from parents and whānau about what is and what isn't working for you. Like at school, our skilled teachers are working in different ways to meet the individual needs of our children.
