We've learned that respecting people means valuing someone and considering them important.

In Circle Time, first we brainstormed what respect in our class looks like, sounds like and feels like. Next we wrote all our ideas on the board. Then we worked in pairs to make our own Y chart of ways we can show respect in Kowhai. 

These charts have become class posters that we will regularly use to reflect and remind ourselves how to show respect to our classmates.
