Kōwhai has Earned a Reward

Dinah Wallis —

Kōwhai has a whole class reward system called “Floating to the Surface of Moana.” Points are earned by the whole class, groups, and individuals showing outstanding behaviour, self-management, and school values.

When Kōwhai has our reward we usually have a pj day. That is also what we did this time also  in the morning we watched a movie called Peter Rabbit. Kōwhai had some crafts set out in kūtai for the people who did not want to watch the movie also we made Easter cards. The students were also able to bring soft toys to school on that day! In the afternoon Kōwhai ate their lunch up in the Rose Gardens. We had an Easter egg hunt. Only with paper eggs though. There was one for every one. When we went back down to Kōwhai we exchanged the paper eggs for real chocolate eggs. Then the parents, (you guys) slowly start to arrive then Dinah and Rowena said good afternoon and everybody went home.

I hope you enjoyed reading about pj day!
