On Wednesday the 4th of March 18 students went to McLeans Island to compete in the Huxster Mountain bike race.

It was a cold morning but we had a great day. The year 5/6's rode a 4km loop for 90 mins. The year 7/8's rode a 5km loop for 3 hours. It was hard work and took lots of determination and perseverance. Everyone worked really hard and Lyttelton was rewarded with three medals: 

3rd place year 7/8 mixed: Iona and Nico

4th place year 7/8 mixed: Orry and Caitlin R.

4th place year 5/6 mixed: Harry and Libby
