This term Takaroa (the bottom floor) are learning through the Arts (Visual, Drama, Music, Dance) with all the teachers across the floor, on Monday afternoons.

This particular group is learning about the importance of Maori art and symbols. Florence said "I learnt that the koru is like a fern frond. It's the symbol of new life. I learnt that people can cook and eat fern fronds and that the koru looks like wind".
