There are two teacher only days scheduled for term 4

The board of trustees has approved the use of two accord teacher only days in term 4 2020.  These have been booked in the school calendar as Friday 23 October (Day before Labour Weekend) and Thursday 12 November (Day before Show Weekend)

As previously shared in the newsletter there were 8 additional teacher only days awarded in the Primary Teachers and Principals Collective Agreement negotiated at the end of 2019. These are required to be taken over the term of the agreement.  

Teachers will be supported with their workload by undertaking professional learning and development in this time.

Due to Thursday 12 November having already been booked in as a regular teacher only day and accounted for in the number of half days the school is open for 2020, we are required to shorten the school year by 1 day.  The last day of term 4 will now be Thursday 17th December.
