Whanau Conferences
Whānau conferences are taking place on Monday 31st July and Tuesday 1st August. Please see article in today's newsletter for booking details.
These conferences mirror the ones held in Term 1. The main purpose of these conferences is to kōrero about the progress your child has made over the past few months, to review any goals set and to share the next steps that will be the focus for the rest of the schooling year.
During your conference, the teacher|kaiako will update you on the progress and achievement of your child against current assessment information in reading, writing and mathematics, their approaches to learning, describing their strengths and identifying their next learning steps. There will be an opportunity to discuss your child’s wellbeing and their social interactions at school.
Conferences are a valuable time for students, their whānau and kaiako|teachers to meet and discuss the individual learners and their needs.
We look forward to seeing you there!
