Policy Review - Term 2, 2025

Lyttelton Primary School uses School Docs to review and update our policies and procedures.

Each term, parents, staff and the Board have the opportunity to review and provide feedback on specific policies and procedures.

Our Term Two policy review focuses on;

  • Planning and Preparing for Emergencies, Disasters, and Crises

  • Communication During an Emergency, Disaster, or Crisis

  • School Closure

  • Emergency Management

  • Disaster Management

  • Crisis Management

Review Instructions

If you would like to take part in these reviews, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Visit the website https://lyttelton.schooldocs.co.nz/1893.htm

  2. Enter the username (lyttelton) and password (respect).

  3. Follow the link to the relevant policy as listed.

  4. Read the policy.

  5. Click the Start your review button at the top right-hand corner of the page.

  6. Select the reviewer type.

  7. Enter your name (optional).

  8. Follow the prompts to show that you've read the topic and enter your feedback if you'd like to comment.

  9. Agree to the privacy statement and click “Submit review”.

If you don't have internet access, the school office staff can provide you with printed copies of the policy and you can use this Policy Review form.

What happens with your feedback?

The board reviews school policy regularly. Collective feedback from staff, boards, parents and leadership of schools across New Zealand ensure that school policy is robust and relevant for our context. Review feedback helps to guide future actions of Lyttelton Primary School.
