Fantastic seeing so many of our children receive Wheke awards today in our school assembly for your consistent and regular evidence of applying our school values everyday.  Tino pai.

Our school planning team in collaboration with LAF are well on track with organising this years school production.  This is an adaptation of 'Animal Farm' and we look forward to focussing learning for the children in Rakinui on various components of the performing arts.  We know this will be another rich learning experience for our tamariki with teaching sessions beginning next Thursday.  Performance dates and times are in the school calendar - 25 and 26 of September and we will provide regular updates of our progress.

Next Friday the Board of Trustees will be sending four questions as a follow up to last term's survey on the schools strategic goals.  These are to help the Board understand more about what is important to you about your children and their education.  Please keep an eye out for these in school bags next week.
