Hannah Mills Visits Rakinui.

Emily Cooper —

Great Britain Sail GP's Hannah Mills visited Rakinui this week.

On Tuesday Rakinui welcomed Hannah Mills to talk to us about what it takes to become an olympic gold medalist. She spoke about the importance of preparation and making the most of your training opportunities.

She also told us about her experience at the Rio Olympics where athletes were required to wade through rubbish washed up on the shorelines when they launched their boats. This inspired her to try and make a difference.

Rakinui then spent some time learning about the importance of sea grass and how it produces oxygen for us to breathe on land.
