Swimming Lessons, Term 1 2022

Welcome back to term 1 and the 2022 school year. Our students are quickly settling back into school life and getting to know their learning spaces and teachers.

As we kick off the new year just a reminder here that our school swimming instruction (9 lessons over two weeks) start next Tuesday 8th February and conclude on Friday 18th February.

Students are taught in small groups for a daily 25 minute lesson with professional swim tutors. This is scheduled throughout the day.

Our swimming instruction programme takes place in term 1 to coincide with the warmer weather. We know the children will appreciate being able to use the pool during this time.

To protect staff and customers, Council has adopted the following protocols:

  • Anyone aged 12 years & 3 months and above must have a Vaccine Certificate

  • Masks / face coverings must be worn in public areas of their facility

  • Scanning in on arrival, maintain good hygiene practices and stay home if unwell

What to bring: Togs, towel, goggles, swim hat (if you have one)

12:30 – Year 0-3 Harakeke

1:00 – Year 0-3 Harakeke

1:40 – Year 3-4 Kowhai

2:10 – Year 3-4 Kowhai
