School Strike for Climate is having a protest on April 5th at 1pm, at the Bridge of Remembrance.

We encourage schools to support students to participate in this event, its an educational experience fostering critical thinking, civic engagement and standing in peaceful solidarity with thousands of people around Aotearoa who are calling for meaningful change to protest our planet.

At this protest we are calling for international trade emissions to be counted, to keep the ban on oil and gas exploration, Toitu Te Tiriti, keep the ban on live animal exports and free palestine, with actions of expelling the israeli ambassador, and keeping New Zealand forces out of the red sea.

Let's unite in our efforts to protect the planet for current and future generations. We look forward to seeing you there.
