A reflection from our group
The teachers taught us a lot and helped us learn more about carving, painting and loving art. They were all very nice and supported us to keep going when it got tough. We put a lot of hard work into our mahi and koha. Our kaiako taught us that art can be anything that you want it to be. Our artworks represent feelings and the things we love; our community, our pets, friends and whānau.
The opening day was scary but fun because there was a lot of people that came to see us and we said our pepeha and spoke about our carvings that we did. We got fish n chips for lunch though and that was pretty cool too.
