Last week, Mackenzie College was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated Maths Week. Each day brought new challenges with daily quizzes that tested our problem-solving skills and mathematical knowledge.

The highlight of the week was the ‘Guess the Weight of the Lollies’ competition, where students put their estimation skills to the test, hoping to claim the sweet prize! The participation and enthusiasm from students across all year levels made the week a great success. We’re now eagerly anticipating our next assembly, where the winner of the lolly competition will be revealed. On Thursday morning the Year 7&8 classes experienced their own Maths competition run on the same lines as Aoraki Maths. There were added challenges thrown in and the hall was buzzing with energy as students strove to come out on top. Thanks to the Year 7&8 teachers, Mrs Holden and Year 9 for their help with this event.
