Congratulations to the following students who have been selected in our head student team for next year.

Congratulations to John Laurenson, 2015 Mackenzie College Head Boy and Isabel Clark, 2015 Dux, for recently graduating from Otago University with medical degrees.

Last week, eight Mackenzie College students competed at the SCPS athletics in Timaru. Well done, Johnny McCabe, Phostina Folau, Akeila Tong, Courtney O'Leary, Greta Biggs, Sam Cassie, Jack McCabe and Diamond Pasaol.

The last day of the year had some competitive house competition fun!

Happy trampers! All is well as our students make progress towards tonights hut, Pinnacles hut!

Mackenzie College Year 7 & 8 boys' touch team went through the South Canterbury Primary School competition unbeaten. Winning games over Craighead, Waimate, Geraldine boys, Geraldine girls and Mt Hutt. Our Year 9 & 10 mixed team qualified for the final after wins over Waitaki, Waimate and Mountainview. They claimed the silver medal after narrowly being beaten by St Kevins.

Congratulations to everyone that competed in the Mackenzie College Tri Challenge. Awesome school spirit on display!

What an incredible week we had on the Abel Tasman Year 9 camp. Students showed so much grit and manaakitanga whilst tramping, swimming, camping, and completing challenges.

In 2022 Mr Hignetts Year 13 Workshop class decided they wanted to renovate the common room as a legacy project for their final year major project.
