2026 BASKETBALL
SEASON START - TERM 1
We offer basketball opportunities for both boys and girls at all levels. This season, our teams are competing in the North Harbour competitions, based at the North Shore Events Centre or various locations around the North Shore area.

All trials for our sports teams are closed events. We ask that parents and caregivers do not attend these sessions. Players are selected based on skills, position, versatility, commitment and availability.
GAMES
The games are played after school in the late afternoon or evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and start times can be anywhere from 4pm to 9pm - all depending on the competition entered and the draw.
All players are expected to train and practise regularly and these sessions are usually after school, early evenings or morning sessions. Players are responsible for making their own arrangements to get to and from training sessions.
The senior U19 boys and U19 girls teams compete in our annual inter school exchanges and the Year 7/8’s in the, one day, zone day tournament.
Members of our Boys or Girls Top Y7/8 Team may have the opportunity to attend the AIMS Games Tournament; however, this event will come with an additional cost. The school works through a selection process that takes into consideration gender equity, staff availability, and accommodation options. Teams selected to attend AIMS will be confirmed at the end of Term 1.
APPAREL
Teams are provided with a playing shirt and shorts. In some cases Y7/8 are asked to wear PE uniform. Premier teams will also be issued with a sports blazer for the season.
SEASON FEES 2026
Season fees for 2026 will vary based on team selection, so it’s a good idea to set up an automatic payment with Student Services.
