SEASON START - Term 1

Football is a growing sport for both male and female players. Students in Years 9-13 are selected to play in our senior teams, which compete in the Auckland home-and-away competition at various locations each week.

2026 TRIALS

All students must be registered before trial dates.

All trials for our sports teams are closed events. We ask that parents and caregivers do not attend these sessions. Players are selected based on skills, position, versatility, commitment and availability.

GAMES
All teams train weekly and play a game one evening a week or on Saturday.

The top senior teams also participate in the Secondary Schools Winter Tournament Week in September and have the opportunity to take part in long-standing exchanges with Hauraki Plains and Mt Roskill throughout the year.

WHEN (2026)

• Senior Girls Wednesday afternoons from 4 - 6pm

• 1st XI Boys Friday afternoons from 4- 6pm in some cases Saturday mornings.

• 2nd XI & U15 Boys Saturday mornings at 9 or 10am

LOCATION

Home and away games played across various Auckland venues.

Intermediate

For students in Y7/8 there is a football and futsal zone day to participate in. Teams for both Y7 and Y8 Boys and Girls will be selected at trials during term 2.

Y7/8 Football Teams Boys or Girls may have the opportunity to attend the AIMS

Games Tournament; however, this event will come with an additional cost. The school works through a selection process that takes into consideration gender equity, staff availability, and accommodation options. Teams selected to attend AIMS will be confirmed at the end of Term 1.

APPAREL

All teams are provided with a playing shirt and shorts. Premier teams are also issued with a tracksuit and sports blazer for the season.  Students are expected to purchase their own playing socks at an additional charge of $20 this can be purchased through students services or Paladins online store.

SEASON FEES 2026

Season fees for 2026 will vary based on team selection, so it’s a good idea to set up an automatic payment with Student Services.
