2026 HOCKEY
SEASON START - TERM 1
Hockey is an exciting, fast paced dynamic sport. We have multiple teams for both boys and girls in Y7-13 throughout a season that runs from mid March through to the end of August.
2026 TRIALS
All students must be registered before trial dates. Trials will be held at the Warkworth Turf.

All trials for our sports teams are closed events. We ask that parents and caregivers do not attend these sessions. Players are selected based on skills, position, versatility, commitment and availability.
GAMES
All teams train weekly and play a game one evening a week.
Our top senior teams compete in the secondary schools winter tournament week in September and also have the opportunity to participate in long standing school exchanges with Hauraki Plains and Mt Roskill throughout the year.

LOCATION
Warkworth Turf at the Showgrounds and North Harbour Hockey Centre in Rosedale Albany + surrounding schools.
Members of our Boys or Girls Top Y7/8 Team may have the opportunity to attend the AIMS Games Tournament; however, this event will come with an additional cost. The school works through a selection process that takes into consideration gender equity, staff availability, and accommodation options. Teams selected to attend AIMS will be confirmed at the end of Term 1. If your child would like to be considered for an AIMS team.
APPAREL
All teams are provided with a playing shirt and skort (skirt with shorts) for the girls and shorts for the boys. Premier teams will be issued with a sports blazer for the season. All players are expected to purchase their own playing socks at an additional charge of $20. All required gear can be purchased through the online Paladin Gear Store, which opens once only before the start of the season.
SEASON FEES 2026
Season fees for 2026 will vary based on team selection, so it’s a good idea to set up an automatic payment with Student Services.

CLUB
Hockey for seniors is offered through the Warkworth Hockey Association during the winter season both locally and in the North Harbour Club competition, and for both juniors and seniors locally during the summer season.
