We fully support the government’s goal of raising student attendance to 90+% because we know regular school attendance is strongly linked to academic success and wellbeing.

As one strategy, we have introduced a 90+% attendance rate requirement for participation in key school events like the Senior Ball, school exchanges, tournament weeks, AIMS games, zone days, and prefect applications.

This requirement aims to encourage consistent attendance, essential for both academic achievement and personal growth.

While we know that some absences are unavoidable, we encourage families to prioritise attendance where possible. We will share specific details, plans and support options with you in the near future, as we look to support our families to remove barriers to attendance and lift our attendance rates.
