Language is the way by which people communicate with one another, build relationships, and create a sense of self as well as community. With roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today, it is important that we cherish and nurture our languages that are unique to our cultures. 

Here at Mana College this term we continue to nurture and grow our Pasifika languages through our junior Pasifika classes and the learning of song and dance via our Polyfest groups.

In week 6 of this term we will be hosting a Pasifika community talanoa and expo here in the Mana College hall. This night will be led by our Pasifika students. Stay tuned over the next few weeks and follow our Instagram page @mc_pasifika for more updates and all things Pasifika.
