Te Whare Ako programme

It has been all go for students on the Te Whare Ako programme. Our Senior Programme for students in Years 12 - 13 began week 4 and will run until the end of week 7.

Students have been sailing on Porirua Harbour with the Sailability Organisation, visited Welltech and Wellington Vocational Services, hiked around Onepoto, had a go at indoor racing and Karate, participated with several Junior students in a Moana Themed Inclusive Dance workshop, learnt about hygiene in a fun and relaxed way as part of the TWA Pamper Day and visited Wellington Zoo with the entire class. 

More is planned for the next few weeks including an overnight tramp with students from Rongotai College as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Most importantly students and staff have had a lot of fun learning alongside one another in all these different places around our community.
