Twenty enthusiastic Te Whare Ako students represented Mana College at the AWD Regional Athletics meet. Every student found success in there own way. 

Sammy and Tearima got to experience their first athletics event. All the hard work in PE paid off especially in our throwing events. Some outstanding shot put throws from Memphis, Ethan and LJ. In the girls discus, Eniyah and Festival were at the top of the field. Sean and Memphis both had successful jumps in the long jump. Jimmy and Andrew gave some excellent throws of the vortex. Jemma stepped up to run in the relay team, while Gabriel Broughton-Kingi showed he was our fastest 100m runner. Overall an fantastic day - our students definitely showed "Mana with Mana".
